Dee Dee is a singer/songwriter and composer with a love for Gospel/Christian music. Dee Dee has recently embarked on her career as a solo artist, after singing with a group for many years. Born into a musical family, Dee Dee began her singing career at the age of 3, while singing in the Sunshine Band at her grandfather's church. Under the direction of her mother and her uncle(Kenneth Paden), the organist, Dee Dee led many songs with the children's choir and often sang solos to represent her church's youth choir during district and state level meetings.
During her early teens, she became a founding member of a three member acappella singing group at her church. She would continue to sing with this group for many years. During her time with the group, she wrote many songs and sang for many festival events, often sharing the stage with well known gospel artists. The group won the Kroger GospelFest Group Competition, whereby, garnering them an opportunity to perform at The Atlanta Gospel Choice Awards. She, along with the group, began working on their debut project. Because of unfavorable circumstances within the group, the group disbanded. And since that time, Dee Dee has served as Praise & Worship leader for her local church. After some life changing moments that began in January 2013, Dee Dee realized her purpose, and that was to use her voice to give praise to God. With the release of her debut single, You Loved Me First, which is also the title of her debut project, Dee Dee desires to impress upon the listener the fact that when all else fails, God's love always abounds.
Dee Dee released for her full debut project in July 2015 under her own record label, Anoiz Music.
